Best TV Shows (FOR ME)

안녕! Hi!
Lamento ayer no haber posteado, la flojera me gano en un domingo frio y lluvioso.. En fin, el post de hoy es para contarles un poquito de lo que a mi me gusta.
Son 11 pogramas que no puedo dejar de ver. Ahi les va la lista! ^^
~I'm sorry i didn't post yesterday, laziness won in a cold, rainy Sunday.. Anyways, in today's post I will tell you a little about what I like.
There are 11 TV shows that i can't stop watching them. Here's the list! ^^

1. 런닝맨 ~ Running Man: 5 chicos, 1 chica tienen misiones de diferentes tipos -a veces con invitados especiales (cantantes, actores, comediantes, deportistas)- se dividen en grupos teniendo sus nombres en la espalda y cada grupo se va eliminando cuando el nombre es retirado por otro concursante. ESTE ES MI FAVORITO!
~5 guys, 1 girl have missions of different types -sometimes with special guests (singers, actors, comedians, athletes)- they are divide in groups having their names on their back and each group is eliminated when someone takes it out. THIS IS MY FAVE ONE!

2. 출발 드림 팀 ~ Let's go! Dream Team: Programa de competencia fisica, teniendo un campo muy grande, riesgoso y para gente con gran habilidad ^^ Se divide en el Dream Team conformado por actores, cantantes y otros. Y los retadores que son peleadores de Taekwondo, profesores, fuerzas especiales, etc. Mis nervios se alteran cuando lo veo
~ Physic competition program, having a big campus, risky and for people with great ability ^^ It is divide by the Dream Team formed by actors, singers, others. And the Challengers which are Taekwondo champions, instructors, special forces, etc. I can't control my nerves when i watch it.

3. 무한도전 ~ Infinite Challenge: Reality show, protagonizado por 7 comediantes.. No se necesita mas, es un mate de risa!

~Reality show, starring by 7 comedians.. No need more, you will ROFL

4. 러브인아시아 ~ Loving Asia: Reality Show. Trata acerca de Coreanos casados con chicas de otras nacionalidades. Hasta el momento han salido 3 historias de Peruanas. Tal vez algun dia yo salga.. jajaja. Estas parejas pasan anios sin regresar a su pais nativo. El programa los lleva a su pais con toda la familia. Siempre lloro.. 

~Reality Show. It's about Korean man married to other countries woman. So far, there has been 3 peruvian stories. Maybe one day i'll be there.. haha. It has been years since this couples don't go back home. The program take them and all the family.. Always cry :'(

5. 1박 2일 ~ 1 night, 2 days: Reality Show. Los participantes viajan al rededor de todo Corea, mostrando costumbres, comida, etc. Pues el punto principal es mostrar la variedad de su pais, pero a la vez teniendo juegos, bromas.
~Reality Show. The participants travel all over Korea showing traditions, food, etc. Because the main thing is to show the variety of their country, but at the same time having games, jokes.

6. 도전 1000 곡 ~  1000 songs challenge: En Corea la mayor diversion son los karaokes (o en coreano Noraebang) este programa parece un karaoke lleno de estrellas. Todos los invitados son cantantes y concursan por un premio especifico. No pueden equivocarse la letra o perder el ritmo, sino son eliminados.
~In Korea the main avocation are karaokes (or in korean Noraebang) this show seems like a karaoke full of stars. All the guest are singers and they compete for a specific price. They can't get wrong the lyrics or loose the rhythm, otherwise they are eliminated.

7. 김병만의 정글의 법칙 ~ The law of the jungle: Reality Show. Viajan a diferente paises (incluyendo latinoamerica n.n) y tratan de sobrevivir como pueblos nativos. Durmiendo en tiendas, cazando animales, etc.
~Reality show. Traveling all around the world (including Latin America n.n) and try to survive as a native town. Sleeping on tents, hunting animals, etc.

8. 세상이 맛있다 ~ Delicious World: Viajan a otros paises, solo para degustar comidas... Que rico no?
~They travel to other countries just to taste food... Good right?

9. 스타 깅 ~ Star King: Talk show, Comedy. Muestran talentos aun no descubiertos, talentos de internet y hacen comedia teniendo invitados especiales.
~Talk show, comedy. They show non discovered talents, internet talents, and make comedy having special guest.

10. Let 美人  ~ Let me in: Cirugia Plastica!!! Si, 2 participantes piden que las renueven de cabeza a pies. No se imaginan los casos que hay! En este si solo les digo, VEAN EL VIDEO!
~Plastic Surgery!!! Yup, 2 participants ask to that from head to toes. You can NOT imagine the cases there are! I just recommend you to WATCH THE VIDEO!


*Asi termino mi ranking, obviamente hay mas pues casi todo el dia veo TV jajajaja.. Pero estos son mis preferidos :P
~And this is how it ends my ranking, obviously there are more because i watch TV almost all day long hahahaha.. but this are my favorites :P

Korean Etiquette

Ayer me reuni con una amiga cubano-americana e intercambiamos ideas y cosas que estamos viviendo en Corea siendo extranjeras. Mi esposo nos invito a cenar a un restaurante de comida coreana, y de pronto salio el tema del comportamiento o etiqueta en Corea... Si, es super diferente al latinoamericano de: No muerdas tu cuchara, no hagas ruidos, no te levantes si no has terminado de comer, no cantes en la mesa, quitate la gorra y entre otras que seguramente sus mamis alguna vez les dijeron...
Les dare un par de tips para que pasen desapercibidos y no queden como maleducados ^^
~So yesterday i met a cuban-american friend and we shared some ideas and things that happen to us being a foreigner in Korea. My hubby take us to a korean restaurant and korean etiquette and behavior conversation came out.. Yeah.. it's way too different from Latinos: Don't bite your spoon, don't make sounds, don't get up if you haven't finished yet, don't sing on the table, take out your cap & some other that maybe you've heard your mom saying at least once..
I will give you some tips so you will pass unnoted and not seem rude ^^

•  Nunca te suenes la nariz en la mesa: Yo se que la comida coreana es bastante picante y a veces cuando estas comiendo moqueas un poco. Pero deberias decir Ya vuelvo e ir al banio... Don't ever blow your nose at the table: I know korean food is pretty spicy and sometimes while eating you have a runny nose. But you should say I'll be back in a while and go to the bathroom...
  
  

• Comparte tu comida: Si, puede que a algunos no les guste y al principio les cueste pues quieren comer un diferente plato. Pero aqui se suele pedir una ollita de sopa y cada uno se sirve en sus platitos o pedir diferentes menus pero se ponen en el medio y lo mismo, cada uno come del plato o se sirve en platitos personales. Sharing food: Yeah, maybe some of you don't like it and at first may be hard because you want to eat your own food. But here it's common order one big bowl of soup and each one serve it in your own dish or order different menus but just putting at the center and same, you can eat it on the same plate or each one serves it in little dishes.
  
  

• Acepta el primer vaso de alcohol: Puede que no tomes, u odies el Soju (como yo) porque es demasiado fuerte, te mareas muy rapido, etc. Pero al menos trata de beber una vez para mostrar respeto y luego puedes decir que no las siguientes veces. Los coreanos estan acostumbrados a aceptar TODO lo que te den los mayores o superiores (jefes) Pero siempre exceptuan a los extranjeros ;)
  Accept the first cup of alcohol: Maybe you don't drink, or hate Soju (like me) because it's too strong, you get tipsy so quickly, etc. But at least try to drink once for showing respect and then avoid the next time. Korean people is used to accept everything what elder and superiors (bosses) give to them but there are always exceptions for foreigners ;)
  

• Cuando brindes, siempre pon tu copa en la misma posicion, no un poco mas arriba, no un poco mas abajo.. Simplemente igual
  When cheering, always put your cup at the same position, not a little bit up, not a little bit down.. Just equal
  

• Usa las dos manos: Si, aqui es totalmente ofensivo dar y recibir (ya sea bebidas, dinero, regalos, etc) con una sola mano; por el contrario siempre usa las dos manos o estiras la mano derecha y con la izquierda te tocas el codo. Recuerda SIEMPRE hacerlo a menos que estes con personas muy allegadas a ti.
  Use the 2 hands: Yup, here is totally offensive to give and receive (drinks, money, gifts, w/e) with only one hand; otherwise, always use 2 hands or put straight your right hand and with the left hand touch your elbow. Remember ALWAYS do this unless you are with very close friends.

• Volteate: Imagina que estas en una reunion con companieros de trabajo o con tu familia politica.. Cuando tomes alcohol, siempre volteate y cubre tu vaso si tienes a una persona mayor en frente.
  Turn around: Imagine that you are in a reunion with your coworkers or with you political family.. When you drink alcohol, always turn around and cover your glass if you have an elder person in front of you.

• Palitos chinos: Con la imagen que descargue, no creo que haya mejor explicacion
  Chopsticks: With this image I don't think i need more explanation.
• La persona con mas edad en la mesa, es la que come primero. Nunca cometas el error de comer antes que ellos, a menos que te lo digan
  The oldest person in the table eat first. Never make the mistake of eating before unless they say to you.

• No excedas tu voz en publico: En Peru, uno esta acostumbrado de contestar el celular donde quiera, y reirse, usar el altavoz y parlantes del celular, hablar con lisuras y toda la cosa. Aqui no, no hay persona que no este con sus audifonos (y nisiquiera escuchas lo que estan oyendo) o si hablan lo hacen moderadamente. Asi que si no quieres que te vean como bicho raro, controlate al hablar
  Don't talk aloud in public: In Peru, we are used to pick up the phone anywhere, laugh aloud, use your speaker, talk with slang and everything. Not here! There's no person without earphones (and u don't ever hear what they are listening) or if they pick up their phones they talk really quietly. So if you don't want them to see you like a freak. Control when talking.

• No demostraciones de afecto en publico! En America, tanto del sur, del norte, del centro uno tiene su pareja y andan de la mano, caminan abrazados, se besan en el parque y hasta se sientan en las faldas de ellos y todos los ven como awww.. son tan romanticos, se les ve super enamorados.. Si vienes a Corea, no esperes mucho. Jamas veras a una chica sentada en la falda de su novio; si es raro que caminen de la mano, imaginense abrazados... De ahi viene cuando en las novelas coreanas el chico la besa, o abraza en publico todos se quedan :O :O :O
  Not showing affect in public! In America as well as South, North & Center you have your boy/girlfriend and you walk touching your hand, with your arm in the neck, they kiss in the park and even sit on the lap of them and everybody is like aw... they are so romantic & they seem so in love... If you come to Korea, don't expect too much. You will NEVER see a girl in the lap of a boy; it's barely weird to walk touching the hands, imagine with the arm on the neck!! Since that comes that in a korean drama when the boy kisses the girl or hug in public everyone is like :O :O :O

Este post es sobre un par de reportajes que vi en SBS y los dos me tocaron el corazoncito <3
*This post is about 2 broadcast i watched on SBS and they touched my heart <3

El primero trata de un ninio de 6 anios que desde que se levanta toca la bateria, la cual se la regalaron a los 3 anios y desde entonces no ha parado! Tan solo escuchando una vez la cancion, la puede tocar sin problemas... 6 anios y va a karaokes para tocar con grupos de mayores.. No cabe duda que como dicen.. El arte se lleva en la sangre!
*The first its about a 6 years old kid that since he woke up plays the drum, that was given as a gift he he was 3 and since then he haven't stooped! Just by hearing a song once, he has not trouble playing it. 6 years and he loves going to karokes just to play with grown up man groups. There's no doubt that as people says... Art is in blood!

El segundo me toco mas la sensibilidad, y trata de una seniora de 77 anios que a pesar de tener un ojo vidrio, y sin haber tenido estudios de pintura o siquiera haber leido pinta al estilo de Vicent van Gogh. Al final del reportaje todas sus pinturas las muestran en una galeria de arte en Busan, lo cual conmociona a la Sra. (no mentire, yo tambien me emocione mucho) Esto nos ensenia que no importa la edad, las discapacidades y/o problemas que tengamos, el arte es una especie de innata unidad que se apodera de un ser humano y lo convierte en su instrumento. El artista no es una persona dotada de libre albedrio que busca su propio benfecio, sino un arte que permite hacer realidad su proposito a traves de el.
*The second touch my sensibility even more, It's about a 77 years old lady that, even though she has a glass eye, not studying for painting or even read about it, she paints like Vicent van Gogh's style. At the end of the broadcast they took her paints and show at an Art Gallery in Busan (i am not going to lie, i got really emotional) And this show us that age, problems or discapacities don't matter when it's about art.

First Diary

Primera entrada de mi blog diario! (^.^)/ Yay!! (^.^)/
Para empezar, les comentare un poco la idea para con este diario personal...
Tratara basicamente de mi supervivencia en el Pais Asiatico, repleto de K-pop, Break dance, Baseball y Ice-skate .
Tratare de postearles un poco de todo, comida coreana, noticias, cultura, vida cotidiana, moda, musica, los lugares que visito y/o quisiera visitar. Un poco de mi vida en la escuela (pues estudio con extranjeros como: Filipinas, Vietnamitas, Tailandesas & Chinos) Y un poco de mi antigua vida en Peru...
Anyways... El Blog va dirigido principalmente para mi familia y amigos que se preocupan por mi diariamente y no saben nada acerca de esta cultura; pero tambien es para todos aquellos que como yo, estan en un pais lejos de casa y tratan de adaptarse a un cambio radical y por ultimo para todos los curiosos ^^ jijiji
Les prometo que poco a poco ire mejorando con mi narracion, y tratare de postearles lindas fotos! Sientanse libres de comentar y dar criticas CONSTRUCTIVAS y no destructivas.

Just to start, i will tell you a little bit about my idea for this blog: It's basically about me trying to survive in this Asian country full of k-pop, break dance, baseball & ice-skate.
I'll try to post a little bit about everything! Korean food, news, culture, daily life, fashion, music, places to visit or i want to visit, school life (With Philippines, Vietnam & Thai girls)
& to end a little about my life before coming here in Peru...
Anyways this blog is more for my fam & friends that are worried about my live here because they don't know anything about this culture; also for ppl like me, that are faraway from their home town and try to adapt a new way of life!
I promise i will get better day by day with my post and try to take beautiful pictures! Be free to comment and be constructive critics and not destructive!
